Five years ago, after delivering over 60,000 hours of care in-house, we made a decision that would shape our future. We launched Careberry as an independent company.
It was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The sector was in turmoil, but our mission was clear: build a care management platform to transform how care is delivered and managed.
Since then, it’s been an incredible journey.
We’ve reached profitability without a penny of external funding which is rare in the care tech space. Instead of chasing investment rounds, we focused on building real value. We now power care delivery across the UK through our cloud-based all in one platform, serving providers in supported living, home care, and residential care.
We’ve launched not one, but three native apps on iOS and Android. Our product covers every angle, including electronic care planning, recruitment, rostering, MAR charts, family engagement, and much more.
Careberry is more than a platform. It’s a community. We’ve brought on apprentices who are now integral to our team. We’ve welcomed students from local schools, giving them real work experience and opening doors into the tech and care sectors.
We’ve released updates every two weeks, without fail. Our dedication to continuous improvement has now become a habit.
But above all, we’ve fallen in love with the problems we solve. Care is complex. Every day we’re coming up with solutions that bring clarity and efficiency to the people delivering care at the front line.
