How I Use AI: A Human-Centric Approach

Over time, I have integrated AI into the way I work not to replace my strengths but to eliminate friction, allowing me to focus more on creativity, innovation, and meaningful work.

Here’s how I do it:

1. Automate the Mundane

Why waste time formatting documents, transcribing meetings, or rewriting the same paragraph for the 10th time? AI handles the grunt work, so I don’t have to.

2. Collaborate, Not Just Generate

I use AI to brainstorm, challenge ideas, and generate discussions. It's not about finding answers—it's about initiating smarter conversations.

3. Speed Up Development

In tech workflows, AI functions like an enthusiastic junior partner. From code suggestions to rapid prototypes, we’ve reduced days into hours without sacrificing quality.

4. Design and Play

Creativity thrives when you’re not afraid to make a mess. I utilise AI tools for mock-ups, artwork, and design experiments that continually improve or fail quickly.

5. Have Fun

One of the first websites I ever created was with Joomla, 19 years ago. Interestingly, that site is still live! It was clunky and time-consuming, but brilliant in its own way. Today, I created a functioning website in just 2 minutes using V0. That's not only faster; it feels like magic.

Invisible Infrastructure, Visible Results

The best technology doesn't make a fuss; it operates quietly in the background. You notice its effects, not its presence. That's the kind of AI I envision: a silent partner that empowers us rather than overwhelms us.

At Careberry, we embrace this philosophy—using AI and what it can offer with a human-first approach and minimal friction. In the field of care, technology should never take centre stage; people should.
