When you’re managing a care company you’re constantly in search of tools, practices, and people who can help you do your job more efficiently. In fact, when you run a business, you want your business not only to survive but also to flourish.  Some of the things that can help with growth and survival strategy could be incredibly easy. At Careberry, we’ve made it our mission to make things hassle-free for care providers, care managers, and carers to enable Care Providers to provide safe and efficient care. Below are a few updates that we have done to Careberry which will make a massive difference in the day-to-day running of a care business:

1. Training Matrix: CQC and other regulatory bodies on staffing require care providers to deploy suitably competent and trained carers to support clients. Therefore, care providers need to collect data to demonstrate compliance. Careberry enables care providers to collect data on mandatory and non-mandatory training courses. Our new update has made things even easier which can lead to substantial time and money savings. With the touch of a button, you can download an up-to-date training matrix. This is in addition to other staff training features like tracking their compliance with required training.

2. Stool Chart: Some of our customers who support people with complex care needs have spoken with us about how important it is to be able to have a stool chart as part of their reporting capabilities. To make it simple for caregivers to report bowel movements, we've added the Bristol Stool Chart to our latest version.

3. Fluid Intake Report: We have introduced fluid intake reporting, which enables caregivers to record the fluid intake using their mobile app, as part of our effort to simplify the process of reporting on every area of the care plan. The management team will also receive fluid reports in real time, which they may read and download in both pdf and excel formats. We are aware that local authorities occasionally request reports on their clients. Therefore, we have made it possible for care managers to run a single report containing fluid Intake, bowl movements, and daily visit notes.

4. Regulatory bodies: Each home nation has a unique regulatory body.  Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), the Care Inspectorate Scotland, and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) in Northern Ireland are among the organisations that provide oversight of care. Depending on where the provider is based, Careberry update now makes it easy to choose the appropriate regulatory organisation. This will help our consumers in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

Feedback from our customers is valuable to us, so please keep sending us your feedback and suggestions. It is our goal to make Careberry the best care management platform for both home care providers and care homes.
